Getting There

Avington Park, Winchester, SO21 1DB

From London and the East (M3):

  1. Head southwest on the M3.

  2. Take Exit 9, following signs for Avington/Itchen Abbas.

  3. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Spitfire Link/A272

  4. At Spitfire Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Petersfield Road A31

  5. At Percy Hobbs roundabout, take the third exit onto Alresford Road/A31. Follow A31 until signs for Avington.

  6. Turn Left at the sign for Avington.

  7. Follow the road for 2 miles until you reach the Avington Estate gates on your left.

By Road

To reach Avington by train, use Winchester Railway Station. From there, you can take a short taxi ride to Avington Park. Here are the steps:

 

From London or other locations:

  1. Take a train to Winchester Railway Station. Winchester is well-connected by trains from London Waterloo.

  2. Once you arrive at Winchester Railway Station, you can hire a taxi to reach Avington Estate.
